United Way of Greater Houston, in partnership with United Way Worldwide and with generous support from Verizon, is proud to offer a series of Disaster Preparedness & Resilience Clinics across the region.
These free events are designed to equip residents across the region with the knowledge, resources, and tools they need to prepare for the unexpected — with additional emphasis on communities facing the highest disaster risk, including those located in designated Community Disaster Resilience Zones in Harris County.

At each clinic, participants can:
• Build a personal or household disaster plan
• Learn what to pack in an emergency “Go Bag”
• Speak one-on-one with disaster experts and community resource navigators
• Receive preparedness materials and support tailored to their family’s needs
• Connect with local emergency management officials and nonprofit service providers
