Nonprofit Connection strengthens nonprofit impact with a portfolio of services that help organizations and professionals expand knowledge, develop strong leadership, access new sources of funding, and increase resilience.
United Way Nonprofit Connection (NPC) believes that a strong nonprofit sector is key to a strong community. To that end, NPC works to strengthen the Greater Houston nonprofit ecosystem. Their goal is to ensure that nonprofit organizations, leaders, and networks have access to the tools, training, and resources they need to advance their mission and impact.

Government Funding Initiative
United Way Nonprofit Connection’s new Government Funding Initiative is designed to help Houston-area nonprofits accelerate their impact and strengthen their ability to secure and manage local, state and federal funding.
Participants will enjoy new customized training modules and peer learning experiences to increase access to public funds. They will also have the ability to apply for small grants for consulting support. Houston Endowment’s investment will also enable the creation of a resource hub that will include grant search options, a comprehensive consultant directory and a range of tools and resources that will help nonprofits diversify their funding portfolios.
The program officially launches in Q1 of 2025. Please stay tuned for more information.
