  • Conference Center

    The United Way Montgomery County Conference Center is available for classes, trainings, board meetings, and special programs to qualified nonprofit and community organizations. Free meeting space is offered during regular United Way business hours and a modest security fee covers weekend usage.

    United Way of Greater Houston’s Conference Center’s policies are to provide 501(c)3 organizations priority usage who are aligned with our agency mission to serve clients within our community. These organizations include direct health and human services, educational institutions, and governmental entities. Nonprofit organizations must provide a 501(c)3 tax-exempt status letter and current liability insurance.

    Tuesday/Thursday: 8:00am – 8:00pm

    United Way Montgomery County Center hosts several network meetings which bring together a wide variety of audiences to address community needs and identify resources to address those needs. These networks include:

    Interagency Network

    Our Interagency Information & Referral Network Meetings offer health and human service organizations a valuable opportunity to come together to inform, educate, and problem-solve on behalf of the underserved in Montgomery County. Quarterly meetings provide a forum for learning about new resources, discussing current issues, and keeping up-to-date on existing services. All nonprofit agencies serving Montgomery County are welcome to attend.

    Montgomery County Community Assistance Recovery Efforts & Services (MCCARES) is a collective network comprised of nonprofit, faith-based, and government organizations working as long-term recovery partners to assist our community with disaster recovery efforts.

Angel Reach provides coordinated services aimed at meeting the special needs of current or former foster youth. Angel Reach is committed to breaking the generational cycle of abuse, neglect, and homelessness, and affecting change by providing housing, tutoring, life-skills training, legal counsel, and other support. Angel Reach also assists when children are moving from foster care into kinship families by providing necessary support and services. Community Youth Outreach, an Angel Reach Program, is a collaborative initiative designed to meet the needs of youth between the ages of 16 and 24 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The goal is to engage, empower, and support these youths to gain the skills and experience to become self-sufficient adults.
