211 Food Insecurity Dashboard
The 211 Food Insecurity Data Dashboard tracks food related needs across our region. Soft launched in October 2025 following the federal government shutdown and resulting impact on SNAP benefits, this dashboard can help us see when and where people are struggling to access food services and programs. This dashboard shows the volume of food assistance requests, geographic hot spots of need, trend over time such as seasonal spikes, economic and/or policy impacts, etc. Additionally, this dashboard tracks the number of referrals to food pantries, meal programs, and SNAP. This can help food providers anticipate demand. When coupled with the 211 Data Dashboard, the 211 Food Insecurity Dashboard can provide further insight into unmet needs such as transportation or other barriers to accessing food services and programs. With the recent changes in SNAP work requirements, this dashboard can help our community get ahead and stay ahead of impacts to our most vulnerable populations.
