1 in 5 students struggle with access to clean clothes, which often prevents students from coming to school. When students aren’t at school, they can’t learn, grow, and reach their full potential! United Way of Greater Houston supports students and families in the Greater Houston region to help make sure they have what they need and can focus on learning – and we need your help!

Help United Way prepare children for a great school year by donating NEW pairs of Socks and Undies kids and families who need your help. You’ll help give students the confidence and resources they need for the upcoming school year.

Host a Drive

 

A great way to support Project Undercover is to run a drive within your organization or community group!  Here’s how you can get started today.

  1. Identify a Project Undercover lead from your organization. Contact us at ProjectUndercover@unitedwayhouston.org to let us know you’d like to be part of the effort.
  2. Decide when to kick off and conclude your Project Undercover drive. Project Undercover will run from June 19th to August 4th for the entire Greater Houston metro area, and will have an early end date of July 21st for our Montgomery County partners
  3. Share the Amazon gift list or place collection bins at your office! United Way will provide collection baskets and coordinate with you on drop-off and pick-up. Encourage your employees, group members to add a gift note with your organization’s name so we can let you know how many donations came from your group!
  4. Have fun communicating Project Undercover to your colleagues. Get teams to compete!
