Our Belief
Everyone deserves to live in a society where they feel safe, respected, and protected. We don’t have all the answers right now, but what we do know is that we can help be part of the solution. Our goal is to listen and learn what it truly means to build and nurture a place of genuine inclusion and belonging, and be clear-eyed about what we need to commit to in order to move forward in a meaningful way.
Our Practice
Central to our mission is the principle that Greater Houston’s well-being depends on the well-being of each person in our community. We stand united with each of you to serve that principle, serve each other, and serve our community every day.
Resources
At the request of many United Way funded partners and other nonprofit partners, United Way is sharing these DEIB resources on our website for quick access. We believe that it is important to give voice to diverse points of view and provide support and information. Inclusion on this page does not reflect endorsement by United Way of Greater Houston.
