United Way by the numbers:
Integrated Client Journey (ICJ)

What is the Integrated Client Journey?

The Integrated Client Journey is a holistic approach to supporting individuals and families along their path to financial stability. The ICJ includes navigators who help individuals build their own personalized pathways to achieving financial stability and access services along the way.

3 – Community Leadership Councils, comprised of community members who have experienced Asset Limited, Income Constrained, and Employed (ALICE). These councils provide feedback and guidance on the ICJ process across Southeast, Northeast and Far Northwest Harris County.

20 – Navigation teams serving individuals across Fort Bend, Harris, Montgomery and Waller counties.

1,523 – Individuals who have been enrolled to work with a navigator since the inception of ICJ.

1,378 – Average monthly income for an individual when starting their journey with a navigator.

3,200 – Individual goals established with navigators to work towards achieving financial stability.

29 – Percentage of goals that individuals have completed.

$300,000+ – Dollars provided to clients working with navigators to reduce barriers and address needs to support their path toward financial stability.

Explore the United Way website to learn more about ICJ and see the meaningful impact you can make as a Women's Initiative member.

Staff Spotlight

Women’s Initiative Luncheon

Our Women's Initiative Luncheon at the newly renovated and gorgeous Junior League of Houston was truly memorable thanks to the incredible Jean Becker, former Chief of Staff for George H.W. Bush and author of the New York Times bestseller The Man I Knew: The Amazing Story of George H.W. Bush’s Post Presidency. Her most recent book, Character Matters: And Other Life Lessons from George H.W. Bush, was published in April 2024. Her funny and inspiring stories remind us about the importance of strong character and being kind to one another.

United Way Campaign Kickoff

We danced the night away and had a wonderful evening at last month’s Groovy Community Campaign Kickoff! United Way is thrilled our campaign is underway. Together, we will help our neighbors in need land on their feet–and stay there. Thank you for celebrating with us and learning more about the impact your support makes on our community.
