Your Support Makes a Difference
The COVID-19 pandemic, racial injustice, and the recent winter storm have presented are among the many challenges our community has faced during the past year. Through it all, you, our Women's Initiative members, have stood with us, supported our work, and helped make sure our neighbors in need had a place to turn for help and hope.
To day, the XX members of the Women’s Initiative have contributed $XX to the 2020-2021 Community Campaign. As our campaign wraps up, we want to say thank you for your incredible support. We appreciate the creativity and love that you put into connecting with each other and continously sharing the United Way in our community! If you have not made your gift yet this year, you can do so here. Please let us know of your pledge by March 31st. Thank you for your support! |

Winter Storm Recovery Continues
Your investment ensures that United Way is here to help in times of disaster and every day. Here are a few of the ways we are supporting our neighbors in the wake of the Texas Severe Winter Storm:
United Way partnered with the Greater Houston Community Foundation to administer the Houston Harris County Winter Storm Relief Fund, which is helping residents of the City of Houston and Harris County with home repairs and other needs.
United Way is also working with long-term recovery committees in Fort Bend, Montgomery, and Waller counties, raising funds to address the specific needs of our neighbors in each of those areas.
The 211 Texas/United Way HELPLINE continues to connect our neighbors in need with help recovering from the winter storm and help with all social service needs 24/7. If you know someone in need of assistance, encourage them to call 211.
The After the Storm Resource Guide is updated with resources and information to help those affected by the Texas Severe Winter Storm. |
