United Way of Greater Houston thanks our 2009-10 Loaned Executives for a great campaign season! After a week of training in late August, 43 men and women joined forces with United Way's Donor Relations team to assist campaign coordinators across Houston in planning and implementing their workplace campaigns.

Loaned Executives coordinated meetings, planned agency fairs, gave presentations, attended tours and helped spread the message that United Way is the best way to make the biggest difference in our community.

Loaned Executives are active employees, retirees and individuals hired to represent a sponsoring company. They work at United Way full-time for 12 weeks during the busiest part of the campaign season. These talented and dedicated individuals are essential to the success of United Way's annual campaign.

2009 marked the seventh year of the legendary Loaned Executive BBQ. The Loaned Executives spend days cooking and preparing for the event that benefits United Way of Greater Houston's Internal Campaign. In addition to great food, the BBQ boasts live entertainment and an intense cake auction. This year, the BBQ raised nearly $10,000 for United Way!

Our thanks also goes to this year's Loaned Executive sponsors and Randy Cleveland, Planning and Commercial manager for ExxonMobil Production Company, and 2009-10 Loaned Executive program chair.

Thank you, Loaned Executives for your commitment to United Way and our community. Together, we do something about it!
